Guidelines for new Keeneteam staff members:
Timesheet requirements:
Get Timesheet
Please total your timesheets in increments
of hours. For example, if you’ve worked 10 hours and 45 minutes, the total
would be 10.75 (not 10.45). Forty-five minutes is three-quarters of one
hour which is .75. Your time-in and time-out should reflect actual time-in
and time-out (i.e., if you punch in at 1:45 p.m., then you should list 1:45
p.m. If you then work until 3:30 p.m., you should punch out at 3:30 p.m.
But then your total time will amount to 1.75 hours, not 1.45 hours (one and
three-quarters hours). To further help you make this distinction, a decimal
point (a dot) signifies a fraction, which would look like: 1.5, or 1.75. It
would not look like: 1.3, or 1.45. A colon (two dots, one on top of the
other) signifies time in and time out on a clock. They would look like:
1:30, or 2:45. They would not look like: 1:50 or 2:75. If this is
confusing, please ask a friend or relative to explain it to you.
When you submit
your timesheets, please submit them with the following file name: your last
name_month_date_year.doc. (For example: Keene_07_25_04.xls.) If you
have more than one client and are submitting more than one timesheet for a time
period, you may use: your last name_client name_month_date_year.doc. (For
example: Keene_Smith_07_25_04.xls.)
Obligations:
If there is ever a problem with your
meeting a client or calling a client when a client expects you to call, or
if there is ever a problem in beginning an assignment when a client expects
you to have begun, please inform Keeneteam as soon as possible. Please do not inform the client without
informing Keeneteam. This has been a
major problem in the operation of Keeneteam when a staff person calls or
writes a client to apologize, or worse, to not apologize but to say they
haven't been able to do the work and Keeneteam does not know until the
client tells us. In this case, the staff member will be terminated
immediately.
Performance:
When timesheets are submitted to clients
for their approval, they will be rating your performance on a scale of 1-5
using the following criteria:
1. professionalism,
follow-up and follow-through (does the staffer call me to follow through on
work and to see in what ways he or she could help me some more now?
This item includes punctuality if relevant and whether the staffer is easy
to reach when I need him or her.)
2. effectiveness
(eagerness, enthusiasm -- this person rolls up their sleeves and is happy
about doing so!)
3. productivity,
accuracy and overall performance (quality of work-product with emphasis on
accuracy and thoroughness).
4. Additional
comments
These ratings are stored along with your
resume so that the next person who considers using your services will be
able to see how you have been rated before.
If you feel that you cannot achieve high
ratings on this type of evaluation, please request that Keeneteam delete you
from its records.
